In the time since it was launched in 2013, Peacock Society has established itself as the leading club culture event, attracting more than 25,000 enthusiastic festival-goers over two days. Every year, this passionate community creates the special atmosphere that underpins the musical experience, which also offers opportunities to meet new people – dancefloors with live performances and DJs, a film club with discussion sessions, digital art installations, a food court, a market and much, much more.
Seven years on – having reached the age of reason – Peacock Society still retains its crazy atmosphere, but is now morphing into something more colourful and more kaleidoscopic, something wilder and out in the open… from mid-July to early September, dance lovers exchange night for day as the festival leaves the warehouses behind and head for the tree-canopied outdoors. As the culmination of a cycle that our changing world needs, it combines our environmental ambition and our desire to party together – with all due regard for our ecosystem. Peacock Society shines out as a true standard bearer of the electro scene in its broadest sense, and presents French and international artists from a wide range of backgrounds. It constantly explores new trends in electronic music, from techno to house, through live electro to the frontiers of hip-hop.
